Thomas Chong B. Kin (born May 24, 1938 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian-born actor and musician who is well-known for his stereotyped portrayals of hippie-era stoners. He is virtually all widely known for his role when Chong in the marijuana-themed Cheech and Chong comedy movies sustaining Cheech Marin. Chong is the boy of Stanley (of Chinese descent) and Lorna Jean Chong (of Scottish-Irish ancestry). He is the father of actress Rae Dawn Chong and actor Marcus Chong.
